Bandcamp Friday Round Up: August 2024
This Bandcamp Friday Roundup is full extra local love featuring artists around the region including several bands competing in the Summer Band Jam music competition presented by Koh Show Live and Gingerfox Productions. The competition consists of bands in and around the state going head to head in local music venues and record shops in Delaware. The finalists will compete for the grand prize at the Aetna Fire Hall in Newark Delaware on September 7.
For anyone unaware, Bandcamp Friday is when the online record store and music community, Bandcamp, dedicates the earnings made on that day to waiving their fees. This results in more money going directly to the artists who deserve it. Stop by and spread a little local love and support if you enjoy it.
If you’re a musician who wants to be featured in The Gable Verse, send your Bandcamp links here.
Love? Said the Commander
After six EP’s and several singles, self-described “PhilaJersey” emo duo Love? said the Commander celebrated the release of their debut album Cast Away on July 24.
