Get To The Gig: Wilmington Ladybug Music Festival 2024

The Wilmington Ladybug Music Festival, presented by Chase, is back with its 100% women-fronted music lineup. This all ages and free to attend event returns Friday, May 31st from 5-10pm, located on the 400 and 500 blocks of N. Market Street in Downtown Wilmington. The day features dozens of live musical performances from artists around the world and the opportunity to discover the best local food trucks, dessert creations and adult beverages that Delaware has to offer.

The Main Stage is located on the 400 block of N. Market Street, and a number of stages are sprinkled throughout the downtown area for a crawl-like musical experience. The festival will allow concert goers to experience music in places like the iconic Crown stage at The Queen and new and unexpected places like LGBTQ+ and woman-owned bookstore Huxley & Hiro.

With this year’s line up including over 30 women-fronted bands, duos, and singer-songwriters of different genres, from across the country, Canada, Ireland, and France, on 8 different stages - this year is promising to have something for any kind of music lover. Queen HD The DJ (official DJ of the Washington Spirit) kicks off the party on the 400 block of Market St. at the Main Stage at 4:30pm, and joins us again to spin at the official after-party hosted at Stitch House Brewery at 10:30pm.
