For over a decade, the Light Up The Queen Foundation has been dedicated to supporting the local community through direct financial support of high-quality programs in arts and music education. This nonprofit organization raises funds through a series of live performance events throughout the year, a music scholarship program, and their annual Shine a Light concert.

“Shine A Light was first held in March 2012 when a group of local musicians were looking to give back to the community and support the recently restored Queen Theater by putting on a concert at the Queen highlighting songs of the Rolling Stones. With virtually no hype or preplanning, to some people’s surprise the show was a sellout and an artistic success. This encouraged everyone to repeat the event in 2013 and 2014, again highlighting the Rolling Stones. Both events were also a sellout.”

They return this year, March 5, to celebrate 10 years of music, resilience, and community with Shine a Light, Best of 10. Join them at the historic Queen Theatre to hear local artists cover the top hits of the last 9 years of Shine a Light.

There are two ticket options including general admission and VIP but don't let the price of the VIP ticket option scare you. With that purchase, you gain access to pregame at the pre-party with open bar and gourmet food catered by Tonic, and both balcony and pit access. The purchase also yields special discounts from conveniently located Hotel DuPont, in case you really want to get your party on.
