September 13 - The Whitney Project at Kennett Flash

The Whitney Project was formed in 2013 as an ensemble dedicated to performing the works of jazz composer Jonathan Whitney when he was the artist-in-residence at a church in Wilmington, DE. The ensemble incorporates earthy acoustic tones with electronic sounds to create a powerful mix of the past and the present. Jonathan’s compositions process his life as a black man, a father, a husband, and an “artivist” who believes in the power of music to illuminate challenging and complex societal issues. September 14 - Bob Mould Solo Electric at Elkton Music Hall

Bob Mould is an American musician/singer/songwriter now in his fifth decade of making and performing music. Bob has released 15 solo albums since his 1989 solo debut Workbook, after forming and leading Minnesota punk rock innovators Hüsker Dü starting in 1979. In addition to a catalog of over 250 songs, Bob contributed the theme song to TV’s The Daily Show and has served as a creative north star to legions of musicians ranging from Dave Grohl to Billie Joe Armstrong. September 19 - Selwyn Birchwood at Elkton Music Hall 

Selwyn Birchwood, an award-winning Florida-based musician, is redefining blues with his unique style. A guitarist, lap steel player, songwriter, and vocalist, Birchwood creates what he calls "Electric Swamp Funkin' Blues," blending deep blues, psychedelic rock, funk, and Southern soul. Blues Music Magazine praises him for heralding a fresh, exciting direction in the blues. Birchwood's live performances are legendary, showcasing his magnetic personality and electrifying stage presence. Standing 6'3" and performing barefoot, he captivates audiences with his soulful vocals and memorable guitar licks. Inspired by Jimi Hendrix and Buddy Guy, and mentored by blues veteran Sonny Rhodes, Birchwood honed his skills on the road while completing his MBA. September 20 - Phil Henry and Erin Ash Sullivan at The Listening Booth

Vermont born, Phil Henry is a singer-songwriter steeped in folk tradition, but not bound by it. He’s penned a treasure chest of relatable tunes about both everyday, and extraordinary life. His muse and imagination run wild; breathing life into aging cowboys, anxious bank robbers and fearful refugees. Henry will be joined by folk artist Erin Ash Sullivan, a New England native who’s music reflects a deep sense of vulnerability. September 21 - Ladybug Micro Music Fest: Middletown

The Ladybug Music Festival along with Middletown Main Street Inc. are bringing Ladybug’s mission of increasing festival lineup representation of women-led artists. Head over to the Middletown Town Hall from 3pm to 8pm on September 21st for an epic evening of women in music during the Ladybug Micro Music Fest. This event is all ages and will feature vendors and 5 bands including Delaware’s own Olivia Rubini from The Voice season 25. For more information visit here.

September 27 - Christone “Kingfish” Ingram at The Queen

Mississippi-born GRAMMY-winning guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Christone “Kingfish” Ingram has quickly become the defining blues voice of his generation. From his hometown of Clarksdale, Mississippi to stages around the globe, the young blues star has already headlined multiple U.S. and European tours, and amazed fans in Australia, New Zealand, and India. He’s opened for The Rolling Stones in London’s Hyde Park, Vampire Weekend, Jason Isbell, Steve Miller and Buddy Guy, a mentor of his, with whom he appeared on Austin City Limits. October 4 Kaleta and Super Yamba Band at Arden Gild Hall

Kaleta & Super Yamba Band are fronted by Afrobeat and Juju veteran Leon Ligan-Majek a.k.a. Kaleta. The singer/guitarist from the West African country of Benin Republic lived his adolescent life in Lagos, Nigeria where Afrobeat was born. Kaleta's guitar chops earned him decades of touring and recording with the legendary Fela Kuti, King Sunny Ade, Lauryn Hill and more. Now based in New York City, Kaleta has been leading Super Yamba Band since 2017. Come see this sure to be legendary performance at Arden Gild Hall on October 4. Tickets are on sale now here

October 10 - Tyler Green at The Old State House

Tyler Green is a singer-songwriter from the state of Delaware. He’s known as a multi-instrumentalist but claims to be a guitarist at heart. He plays an eclectic range of genres, marking songs with a familiar style, whether they be original songs, or cover tunes from his influences. Whether Green is playing with his band, in a DJ set, or solo acoustic you won't want to miss this evening's entertainment!
