Summer is officially here and the scene is heating up. With more fun filled music festivals coming and huge names like Dr.Dog and Sleater-Kinney coming to the state, we thought it was high time to send out another concert calendar so our readers don’t miss out. July 11 - Dr. Dog at The Queen

Beloved Philadelphia rock band Dr. Dog is coming out of a very short retirement to grace the world with their live musical performances once again. Prepping for tour and a new self-titled album slated to be released on July 19, the band will be rocking the Main Hall stage and the show is all ages. For more information and tickets visit here.

 

July 13 - Shady Grove at Arden Gild Hall

The annual Shady Grove Music Festival is back this year on the outside stage of Arden Gild Hall on July 13 from noon to 8:30 PM. This year’s line up includes some local favorites like Death by Indie and Von Holden as well as some Philadelphia talent like art rock band The Lunar Year and punk band Queasy. July 20 - Elkton Music Hall 1 Year Anniversary Show

Time flies when you’re having fun, Elkton Music Hall! Come celebrate a successful first year at Maryland's premier venue for all things music with a sure-to-be show-stopping night with WXPN darlings Cosmic Guilt, Kid Davis & The Bullets, and Red Bird. July 21 - Summer Sounds Series at Kennett Flash

Kennett Flash presents round two of 2024 New Summer Sounds Series music competition. The 2024 New Summer Sounds Series is designed to highlight new local artists and provide a professional venue to showcase their talent as they compete in a Battle of the Bands format show for a $400 grand prize, 4 hours of recording time at the Mattock School of Music, and a chance to headline their own performance at The Kennett Flash! July 30 -  Sleater-Kinney at The Queen

Do not adjust your screens and no need to clean your glasses. You read it correctly. The iconic rock duo Sleater-Kinney is making a stop at The Queen on July 30th. After a hiatus and working on separate projects the band is back together and on a not to be missed tour for their new album Little Rope. August  3 - Summer Band Jam at Squeeze Box Records 

Gingerfox Productions and Koh Show are partnering up with some awesome sponsors to bring a music competition like no other to locally owned businesses this summer. August 10 - Jessye DeSilva at The Listening Booth
