We’re grateful to continue our monthly Bandcamp Friday tradition of rounding up some of the coolest new music from the Delaware Valley and placing it conveniently in one spot for your music supporting pleasure. For anyone unaware, Bandcamp Friday is when the online record store and music community, Bandcamp, dedicates the earnings made on that day to waiving their fees. This results in more money going directly to the artists who deserve it.
Cypher Clique
Arguably one of the most recognizable rap groups in Dover, Cypher Clique is back on your timeline with a four-song EP titled For The Algorithm, released on October 18. This explicit collection of songs is the honest portrayal of three young men making their way through the industry and everyday life. Once again teaming up with producer James Major to self-release another relatable and inspiring collection of honest gritty stories over top of dreamy rnb beats.
J.D. Webb
J.D. Webb is a songwriter with a style rooted in folk, rock and blues based out of Galena Maryland. He’s an established and sought after folk singer, fronting bands like Apache Trails and most recently Howl Train. Webb’s latest solo creation ‘Threads’ was released independently on September 30th and has all the rustic acoustic and beautifully simplistic sounds any folk fan would love.
Astromot
Astromot is a Delaware music producer who just released a 12-song album full of ambient beats titled 'As Above, So Below’ on October 4. It’s another one of those albums you put on and let it carry you away into deep thought and to excite creativity with its mix of meditational tones, fun high hats, and electronic sounds.
Synnocence
Delaware cinematic hard rock Synnocence released their debut track ‘Doll’ on September 29. This hard rocker is a ballad thoughtfully written about a violent dysfunctional family, sung from a little girl's Doll’s perspective. Lead vocalist Trini uses their powerful vocals to stir the emotion and bring attention to a hard, but all too real, topic.
