Bands on Fire! Fall 2021
This segment is a seasonal round up of some Delaware artists and bands making big moves in the music world. With the weather turning and sunset creeping closer as the days go by, it’s paramount to reflect on what keeps us happy and sane. We pulled together a list of bands and artists who had some notable achievements over the season just for the occasion!
Jimmie Allen wins New Artist of the Year at 55th Annual CMA Awards 2021
If you don’t know the country music sensation from Milton Delaware, Jimmie Allen, you must be living under a rock. Any southern Delaware millennial worth their salt has seen Jimmie playing house shows and basements before his prolific move to Nashville. Accompanied by his beautiful wife in fabulous matching hot pink ensambles Jimmie gives a tear jerking acceptance speech, Delaware shout out included. We love to see it.
Richard Raw opens for hip hop legend Talib Kweli at Brooklyn Bowl
Richard Raw and his Word Warrior band played a show with hip hop legend Talib Kweli on November 5 at The Queen, then again on November 27 at new Philadelphia hot spot Brooklyn Bowl. If you follow this Delaware artist, then it comes to no surprise that he’s opening up for such a prestigious act. He single handedly brought some of the best rappers to first state including KRS 1 and Rakim.
Nitro Nitra releases single, She Can’t Deal
With a fiery personality and voice to match Nitro Nitra has been making a splash in the east coast rock and roll scene with her undeniable presence and righteous band. With music videos on the way and performances pretty regularly, it’s impressive that this ball of energy had time to release a new track.

The Blues Reincarnation Project play Lancaster Blues and Roots Festival
Since their inception in 2016, The Blues Reincarnation Project (TBRP) has been consistently one of the most reliable and skilled bands on the scene. They held their own alongside some award winning artists like Eric Gales and Larkin Poe in October at the Lancaster Blues and Roots Festival. With over 70 artists and eight venues spanning three days the festival is a star studded event and nothing short of astounding. Although the festival is done and the band has packed it up for the year, they are sure to be back in 2022 with more music and jaw dropping performances.
