JD WEBB

Maryland-based singer-songwriter JD Webb ended the year strong with another lonesome cowboy diddy featuring his backing band, The Good God Damns, in his latest single release “The Champ”. The booming upright piano, sweeping violin, and country electric guitar accents are a perfect complement to JD’s folky acoustic guitar and vagabond voice. Catch him and his band play this song live at Kennett Flash on January 20th. Tickets are available online here.

Pink Blush

Knoxville-born and Philadelphia-based indie rock band Pink Blush is back with another ripping track in their latest single “Glass”. They released the single on Bandcamp November 2023 and with its big guitar sounds and soaring vocals, “Glass” is sure to excite fans and win over any new listeners. It was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Justin Calaycay at Mt. Moon Recording in Philadelphia, PA.

Penny Death

Delaware-based pop-punk indie rock band Penny Death released a hefty twelve song album December 16th. Titled, Kind Of Like A Home, this album was recorded in 12 hours and produced by The Koh Show creator, Michael Koh.

Emily Mcnatt

Dover-based singer-songwriter Emily Mcnatt finished the year with an acoustic EP with a range of emotions, titled “Come Out Of The Shadows”. Produced by Jeff Willet and featuring songs Mcnatt had written between 2013 and 2023, she mentions on her site “So much has changed over these 10 years of my life, and this EP serves as a time capsule of poetry and music to honor them” giving soon-to-be listeners the feel of peeking into the diary of someone with secrets to share.

Think Machine

Indie math-rock Delaware band, Think Machine, released a 12 song album December 15th, titled “Waiting For The World To End”. Recorded between Studio North and DIY house venue Luigi’s Mansion in Philadelphia and Impetus Records in Claymont, Delaware, this album features technical guitar riffs, punk lyrics, and some horns for some razzle dazzle.

The Age Of Flight

Producer and drummer for the legendary Delaware rock band The Caulfields, Ritchie Rubini is musically aging like fine wine in his ambient, cinematic, self-titled album “The Age Of Flight”. With a focus on creating vibrant soundscapes of retro-futuristic space music, Ritchie wrote, arranged, and recorded all the songs himself and mastered by his good friend and fellow rocker Cliff Hillis at The Hacienda.
