Music Video Review; Tyree Izaiah - Source Awards (Official Video)

Tyree Izaiah, from the Delaware-based Digital Acid music label, has teamed up with production company COLOR LIGHT + SOUND for another music video for their latest single release ‘Source Awards’. The label has been putting out music and creating colorful, creative, and gritty content to match their eclectic and down-to-earth roster.

In the official ‘Source Awards’ music video, we follow Tyree through some of the most beautiful and scenic parts of the city of Wilmington as they open up and talk about their real life experience through song. The video opens with a cinematic wide pan shot of Tyree sitting on a bench at Rodney Square with the Wilmington Trust building looming in the background. A large television displaying static, seen in previous Digital Acid music videos, is sitting next to him

The static television appears again on steps behind the Wilmington Hospital and the pictures clear as Tyree begins rapping his lyrics. Outside of the Nemours building, Tyree and his T.V. are continuing to engage us as the lyrics delve deeper into his inner psyche. We are even exposed to some of the nature Wilmington has to offer in a shot of Tyree banging on his television to clear the picture while sitting on the banks of the Brandywine River.
