Music Review: Debut EP Secret Garden by Indie Pop Band Cherry Park

Delaware-based indie pop band, Cherry Park might be new to the music scene but their debut EP Secret Garden is giving more of a major label feel then a DIY vibe. The band released the collection of music in August of 2023, with a well-attended release show at The Queen in September alongside master guitar player Rachel Ana Dobken and singer-songwriter CHVNCE. Each song has already passed the thousand-stream mark on Spotify and shows no signs of stopping.

With lots of bedroom guitar riffs, pop synth, and passionate lyrics, Secret Garden is a teenage dream come true. Every song is accompanied by a dance beat as the perfectly compressed drums bang on. For anyone who considers themselves a “Swiftie” and can’t wait for the next album, Cherry Park’s Secret Garden will tie you over.
